Male and Female Students harassed and beaten as they protest in JAMB office in Lagos

After paying 2,500 naira each for change of data in their application forms, Students were unhappy that after a long time JAMB could not make the changes that they wanted. They students decided to stage a protest in JAMB head office, Ikoyi, Lagos. However they were maltreated, beaten and sprayed water on. Some of these students stated that some mistakes were made by JAMB themselves, yet they had to go through the stress of paying to change it and suffer these maltreatment.

A girl testified on TVC news today that she was beaten and tugged at just because she was demanding for her rights. Another students suggested that the government empower Computer Based Test ( CBT) centers to help effect these changes to avoid continuous strain and strife.
