Alliance Against Domestic Violence and Abuse holds "Sit out Protest" in Lagos
On the 3rd of August 2017, Alliance Against Domestic Violence and Abuse ( AADVA) held a Sit-out Protest Against Rape of Babies and Children in front of Governor's Office Alausa, Lagos. Rape is demeaning in any sort of way or any form and to think that some people would blame the victim of the rape ( Boy or Girl ) rather than blame the rapist. There have been excuses such as her dressing provoked or her response to your advances made you think she would like to be raped.
One Mr Emmanuel Emiaso blames women who are raped for the act, he stated that women who visit men in their rooms subject themsleves to being rape. Perhaps he does not realise the magnanimity of rape or he does not have sisters or relatives who presumably subject themselves to rape.
Please Nothing justifies rape and government officials should take very serious action against perpetrators of this act. People should be encouraged to report such cases and No from anyone for sex is not consent.
